Chapter 500 - 33: Magic Dragon God and the Five-Pronged Rose
Even though he couldn’t see the exact appearance of the goddess opposite him, Karon knew clearly that the incarnation of the goddess descending to the world of Aikania was none other than the Magic Goddess of the Dragon Race, the Middle Divine Power Dragon God Kreska.
This Dragon God, nicknamed Magic Light, Miracle Messenger, was mysterious as no one knows her true dragon form, for her shape is ever-changing and never fixed.
But given her Magic Divine Position, this situation isn’t strange.
In Karon’s eyes, these Dragon Gods, possessing even greater Divine Power, are more unpredictable than the Evil Dragon Queen Tiamat, because the powerful Divine Position allows these dragons’ dragon nature not to dominate absolutely.
These Dragon Gods, at times, resemble gods more than dragons.
This is far more troublesome than the belief conflict between the Platinum Dragon God and Tiamat, at least it is for Karon.
Among the new generation of dragons, few rarely actively believe in the Platinum Dragon God and the Immortal Dragon Queen because, in the eyes of these new dragons, there are historical lessons to be learned.
In the eyes of these proud dragons, Bahamut and Tiamat are merely dragons stronger than them, and they believe they have the potential to stand alongside gods, arrogant and untamed.
Even the Blue Dragons and Green Dragons, who once regarded Tiamat as the supreme Monarch, no longer have much regard for her.
Within the Imperial temples, in the eyes of many Dragon Lords of the Gogomola Dragon Group, they see that even the sculptures of those Dragon Gods must be placed behind the Dragon Group in the temples of the Mortal World.
In the Mortal World, it is the stage of the dragons.
And this goddess descending upon Karon’s stage, her purpose unknown.
"Gogomola...,"
Surrounded by a gigantic aura of magic, the Magic Goddess Kreska softly uttered the term, her tone seeming both melancholic and brewing with anger.
Karon slightly lowered his wings, the layers of burning marks on his wings completely ignited, yet he maintained a calm composure.
Although he wasn’t in good condition, having exerted himself fully earlier, leading to some depletion of his Magic Power, exerting full strength didn’t mean using all his means.
"Noble lady, beautiful goddess," the Ancestral Red Dragon now exhibited the skills honed in its juvenile days, praising the goddess before it, "Your arrival is like the moon in the sky descending to the ground, but how could the filthy Mortal World bear your beautiful radiance?"
"I do not know what disturbance could move your vast light to soil your feet."
While speaking words of praise, the Ancestral Red Dragon’s dark golden pupils remained extraordinarily calm, showing no guard towards the Divine Spirit.
Even the White Dragon Camid, closest to the Ancestral Red Dragon in spirit, and Kleyna and Antajena, closest in flesh, couldn’t discern how much remained of this Red Dragon.
Though through gathered information from outside dragons and others research into the Emperor of the Golden Empire, they learned that besides its giant dragon form’s power, the Ancestral Red Dragon displayed various capabilities in every battle because this unique Red Dragon preferred to conceal its prowess from the familiarity of others.
But perhaps only Blue Dragon Doss knew that this habit of the Ancestral Red Dragon was due to its own character of disliking reliance on a single method, aligning with the general direction the Red Dragon led the Golden Empire.
The Red Dragon and its Empire have always been changing, like living water, endlessly flowing.
"Pffft,"
The Magic Goddess, surrounded by her Magic Aura, strode forward, stopping not far from the Ancestral Red Dragon.
Her voice was ethereal and elusive, akin to a sound emerging from behind layers of mist, yet strikingly clear.
"I’ve decided, Karon Gogomola, if you’re ever slain by someone, I’ll seize your soul, reshape your body, and keep you by my side,"
"You’re not like these little ones who whimper and worry me all day long," the Magic Goddess Kreska’s body, though indistinct within the aura, remained stunningly beautiful to the dragons.
Karon unabashedly gazed at Kreska’s projection, admiring her exquisite form, disregarding the three little dragons hissing angrily on her shoulders and head.
Then, with a smile, he said, "I appreciate your affection, but I think I prefer staying in this Mortal World."
The air instantly seemed to turn cold, an extreme shift even more rapid and intense than the changes between extreme heat and cold before the goddess.
"Ha, little one, do you think I am jesting with you?" the voice of the Magic Dragon God Kreska suddenly turned cold, laced with anger.
"That bitch Tiamat, that licentious old hag, dares mock me before my face," Kreska glared with her eyes, revealing her true form at this moment.
This Magic Goddess wore a light moon-silken robe woven like moonshine, sheer enough to be see-through and matching her milky white skin, which is why she appeared almost nude in her projection.
Yet her originally beautiful face carried coldness and frost, with large eyes faintly revealing dragon-like pupils, glaring at the calm-faced Ancestral Red Dragon.
Kreska gritted her teeth and said, "That lascivious old dragon mother dared to mock me. She arrogantly said, ’Ah, Kreska, take a look. Our Dragon God is honored and revered in the Mortal World, worshipped above in the sacred hall. Guess who isn’t worshipped there?’"
